At least that is Obama's campaign platform, but is it true?
Forbes estimates that the 400 wealthiest Americans have a total net worth of $1.53 trillion. If their income was taxed at a 50% rate, rather than the 19% that Warren Buffet pays, the Treasury would receive an additional $25 billion in taxes a year,
to put towards our $1.3 trillion yearly deficit.
That still leaves $1,275 trillion to be financed.
Could the rich pay more, sure, should they, sure.
Is soaking the rich the end all solution to Americas problems, as Obama claims in every speech that he gives, NO.
Preaching hate, class warfare, dividing American into groups, and stirring up protestors, is not becoming of a President, and should be exposed for what it is.
This is his last ditch effort to divert Americas attention from failed policys and our crumbling economy.
